Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of DogTag (“DogTag,” “we,” “us”), a digital pet medical-ID app provided by The Real Doodle Co. By creating an account or using DogTag, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

🩺 Not veterinary advice. DogTag is a record-keeping and information tool. It is not a substitute for professional veterinary care, and “Ask Maddie” is not a veterinarian. In an emergency, contact your vet or an emergency animal hospital right away.

Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter about your pets.

Acceptable use

Use DogTag only for its intended purpose — managing your own pets' information. Don't misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, access other users' data, or use it for anything unlawful.

Premium subscriptions

Premium is offered on a monthly ($2.99) or annual ($24.99) basis, billed through Stripe.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled beforehand.
A promotional code (such as a first-year-free offer) applies the stated discount; unless otherwise stated, the subscription renews at the standard price when the promotional period ends.
You can cancel anytime; you'll keep Premium until the end of the period you've already paid for. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
Prices and features may change; we'll give reasonable notice of material changes.

Your content

You keep ownership of the information and photos you add to DogTag. You grant us the limited permission needed to store, display, and sync that content so the app can function for you. You're responsible for keeping your own backups (the app provides an export option).

Availability

We work to keep DogTag available and reliable, but the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we're not responsible for lost data — please keep your own exported backups of important records.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Real Doodle Co. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of DogTag. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using DogTag and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are violated.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
